Kartik Purnima 2027 (Dev Diwali) is the full moon of the holy month of Kartik. All 33 crore gods are believed to descend to the ghats of Varanasi to bathe in the Ganges and celebrate their own Diwali. The ghats are illuminated with millions of diyas creating an ethereal spectacle. A holy dip in the Ganges on this day is considered equivalent to performing the Ashwamedha Yagna.

- Align Fasting with Local Sunrise: Start your vrat precisely at sunrise in Singapore (approx 06:00 local time), rather than following Indian Standard Time.
- Perform Puja during local Auspicious Hours: Make sure to perform the main rituals during local SGT evening/night windows as shown above.
- Holy dip in the Ganges at dawn
- Lighting lakhs of diyas on the ghats of Varanasi
- Satyanarayan Katha and Vishnu Puja
- Deep Daan (donating lamps to the river)
