Apara Ekadashi 2027 Date: The Fast for Limitless Wealth
The Meaning of 'Apara'
In Sanskrit, Apara means infinite or limitless. Observed on the 11th lunar day (Ekadashi) of the Krishna Paksha (waning phase) in the Hindu month of Jyeshtha, Apara Ekadashi is celebrated for granting infinite virtues, wealth, and freedom from major sins. Vedic scriptures state that observing this fast is equivalent to donating gold, performing major fire rituals (Yagyas), or taking a holy bath during solar/lunar eclipses.
