Four triangles point upward (representing Shiva or the masculine cosmic force) and five triangles point downward (representing Shakti or the feminine divine energy). Together, they form 43 smaller triangles that represent the entire structure of the universe.

- Select the weekday ruled by the planet (e.g. Sunday for Sun, Thursday for Jupiter). Perform this in the morning after bathing.
- Wash the Yantra gently with clean water, rose water, or raw milk, then wipe it clean with a soft cloth.
